Facebook

I see I've been neglecting my blog lately. I've been neglecting a lot of things lately, and it's all Facebook's fault.

I don't recall now who "invited" me to join Facebook. I thought such things as Facebook and MySpace were for very young teens and adult perverts. But, at least in the case of Facebook, I was mistaken. Damn near everyone I have known for the past half century is on there.

I keep thinking and hoping that the novelty will wear off soon so that I can return to more productive ways of wasting time. I keep thinking and hoping that.

Meanwhile, I'm reconnecting with old friends, some of whom I've not communicated with in decades. And, although I realize there are many ways to post photo albums online, Facebook provides an easy way to do that, and my "friends" know about it automatically.

So that's what I'm doing these days, for more hours each day than I care to admit, messing around with Facebook. I'll get back to serious stuff soon, I think. I hope.
