New Blogger Pitfall

I finally switched to the Google version of Blogspot and, when it asked if I'd like to change the address to a domain address, I figured, Why not?

I assumed (big mistake) the Blog would somehow be linked to my web site, but what happened was, Google tried to replace my web site content with the Blog. My web site won't come up now, and, until I switched the Blog address back to blogspot.com, I couldn't view the Blog, either.

So now www.ericrush.com gets you "This Site Under Construction" and I'm waiting for my hosting company go get back to me on how to fix it.

Thank you, Blogspot and Google for assuming we're all Internet experts.

DO NOT try to change your Blog address to your existing web site unless you know a lot more about these things than I do.
